- I'm Briana and I am 20 years old & I just moved to Portland, Oregon! I lived in Idaho my whole life. I graduated from Borah High School in 2006 and then attended Albertson College/College of Idaho for 2 years and ran cross country. I decided to take a break from school, and it was hard but GOOD. I figured out my life, spent time w/the family & friends I love most, & most of all, got all psyched to go back to school! Portland was kind of a random decision--especially Portland State. But I'm so glad I'm here! I MISS my friends and family and church so much! But it is nice to get away from all the distractions of home, and truly focus on my education for the time being. I am majoring in Social Sciences, to further pursue a Master's in either Social Work or Counseling. I love God, my Catholic faith, and my family and close friends more than anything else. Sunshine and music make me happy. I'm a lifelong runner, and have a tattoo my friend Chantel designed on my left ankle that says "run with your heart." Just because I don't do run at the collegiate level competitively anymore doesn't mean I don't love it! I <3 Life!

I can't believe that Boise is getting that much snow. The ONE year I don't come home for Christmas, it snows. Utah has been hit hard too, but I'm in Colorado, and there's nothing. It's seriously, like 50 degrees here. Rude. I can't believe (also) that you're moving to Portland?! That's a much bigger city than Boise... I don't know if I could do it. That's impressive Bri! I would love to be your email buddy! I don't really get emails anymore, since everyone is all on facebook and junk... haha! mine is k.thompson@aggiemail.usu.edu ... even though that's not my name anymore! haha! how have things been going for you?! We need to catch up, seriously!
