Waking up EARLY!!!

So. This has been the first week of babysitting for Lorissa & Johnny from 630-830 AM everyday, except Tuesday, on which I work from 530 AM to noon. WHEW! I've had to totally change my routine, b/c I used to stay up until all hours of the night and sleep in til the afternoon! Now...I roll out of bed around 6:10 (5 on Tuesdays), and TRY to be in bed by midnight...which is HARD!!! P.S. Just in case you're wondering, "babysitting for Lorissa & Johnny" means rolling out of bed @ 610ish, driving over @ 623ish, arriving @ 630, watching tv/sleeping until 830 while the boys are in bed, then going back home. Then I usually nap (since I never get more than 5 or 6 hours @ night), wake up and run, shower, and go to work on days I work @ night. The goal is to eventually be able to run before I nap, but so far I've just been too beat! My mom's like, "you should really try to get 6 hours of sleep @ night," and I just said, "whatever..."

I was SO excited yesterday because it was 76 degrees, and I ran for the first time outside in quite some time. It's been quite hot this summer...I'm not a fan of anything over low 90s. But 80s and 70s are my favorite! Yesterday was absolutely beautiful! And except for a few 90s days, the next few weeks are supposed to be FABulous. Lorissa & I just want it to stay like this forever.

So, school started around here, and I have to admit it is a little odd not going this fall--for the first time in 15 years! BUT...I really do think taking a break is the best thing. I'm planning on just cramming in a ton of credits this spring and fall, and maybe taking a few summer courses, in order to catch up a little. I have some AP credits (like 6), so if all my credits from C of I transfer to BSU, I should be only a semester and a half behind or so.

Holy cow...there was a HUGE fire in southeast Boise on Monday night. It was horrible! Ten houses were totally destroyed, 9 damaged, and one person died :( The woman that died was a professor at BSU, and my mom actually had her. How sad is that? We were really worried that a few of our friends--the Millers and the Beumelers--houses were in danger, but they were all right, thank God. My heart goes out to all the families who lost their homes, and especially to the family of the professor.

Tomorrow is Leanna's 18th birthday!!! Yeah!!! How weird is that though? :) I guess it's about time, since she is a mama now :) I think I want to get her chocolates (pregnant girls love that) and an outfit for the baby. I don't think anyone's gotten her anything for him/her yet, so that would be cool. I'm going to call and sing to her here in about 40 minutes--at exactly midnight! I doubt she answers though, because she's been sleeping SO much!!

Well, let's see. That's pretty much the news these days. I miss the Olympics SO SO much. I'm so excited to see one of my best friends from school, Megan, who is from Minnesota.
I think tomorrow I'm going to wake up Noah @ 8, b/c it's kind of a bummer never getting to see the boys in the mornings :)
THAT is pretty much it folks...

Ciao!

"Mommy, how do you get pregnant?"

So...I totally lucked out. Because Becky, my cousin, is in town, and my aunt and uncle told me they all were going to the fair on Thursday night. So I tried to get someone to cover my Thursday night shift. But...no luck. However, this guy Josh was like, "Hey, if you want I'll take your Wednesday shift." I don't really know why, but I was just like, "sure, that's ok." So then I find out that they are all going to the fair Wednesday! YaY!! AND I invited my wonderful cute pregnant cousin Leanna who I love, so we all went--Dave, Shannon, Morgan, Kaden, Becky, Alex, Leanna, & I!

It was SOOOO much fun. We didn't ride any rides, b/c they were extremely expensive. I'm not a ride person anyway, and Dave & Shannon had just been @ Lagoon. Plus Leanna couldn't ride any anyway. We did enjoy fair food, though! I had a yummy yummy buffalo burger! So good...beef sucks :) And I also shared a Idaho ice cream potato with Morgan--so good, I'd never had one before.

We also looked at animals--Morgan tried to feed the cows hay, but they didn't take it from her. And we learned that, apparently, when the cows are milked they are put in this room all by themselves with just a machine milking them. How sad is that?! Morgan asked, "Isn't there someone in there in case they get scared?" I agree!

Then there was this hilarious juggler who juggled sticks on fire--4!-- while performing an interpretive dance. Oh man...HILarious!! We also ran into my favorites--Uncle Gary and Becky--and Patty and RQ! Man, I love them!

So yeah, the fair was fun. And it was great to spend time with everyone. BUT...the main reason I'm posting this is for the best part of the evening. And that is when Morgan finally figured out Leanna was pregnant--she is 4 1/2 months along. She asked, "are you pregnant?" and Leanna said yes. Then Morgan proceeded to ask, "How did you get pregnant? How do you get pregnant?" And the best part: "Mommy, how do you get pregnant. PLEEEEAAASSEEE tell me, mommy, I promise I won't do it, just tell me!"
OH my gosh.....that is one of the funniest things I've heard in quite some time. Oh man. That girl is a funny one. I've never quite heard it put that way before--"I promise I won't do it, just tell me!"

Woooo.

Well anyway, it was a busy night, and I should probably get to bed.

P.S. Marci finally found my blog--YAY!!

Now I just need to figure out how to:
1)Put fun stuff on here to make it look livelier
2)Find people on here, b/c I know there are people I know on here

Well...I'll figure it out eventually.

Peace out!

And go Nick Symmonds!!!

Wow it is FREAKING HOT here!!!! I went floating the river w/my cousins Paul & Becky to cool off, it was So Sweet!! We went on a raft, and it was a perfect way to spend a hot hot day!! Hmm...still confused

Well...hopefully I figure out this someday...I don't even know how to add friends or look @ other people's blogs or make mine look interesting.....sad ):

Today I slept in. Gotta love that. And since the fair is going on work was VERY slow. Casey and I were bored. I looked through piles of applications in the office and found one guys that answered "Yes, I stole out of a car" in response to the question "Have you ever committed a felony?"...ha
In case you're wondering what my favorite drink is...it is a white chocolate mondo--which is white chocolate an a shot of espresso mixed with iced coffee. MMM mmm good. Lol...so @ my store we have a drive-thru so we use headsets, and some of the people who have worked forever like to give rude people decaf shots in their drinks. I had never done this before...until tonight...when a cranky man ordered two drinks. Decaf they were...muah...seriously though, I work night shifts, so how big of a deal is that...

Well it's supposed to be FREAKING hot tomorrow, 101, so I'm floating the RIVER! And this time I'm not wearing ANY sunscreen, in order to avoid crazy-weird tan lines...

My 15 year old cousin from Wyoming, Rebecca, is coming to Boise this week, and hopefully we hang out alot. She is way cute, but I haven't seen her in forever.

Well..........hopefully Marci adds me, or whatever you do on this.......b/c I don't know HOW!!!

Peace, and GO USA (michael phelps is hot!)

Blog? Haha. WoW!

So pretty much the ONLY reason I'm making this blog is so I can respond to Marci's blog!! Because the pictures and videos are all so amazing and adorable! Who knows...maybe it will turn into something more?? (:
